Some of the drawers in the kitchen and the wardrobe smelled damp. Maybe they have to be aired more frequently or something has to be put inside them to keep them dry.

Charging for damage caused by the wind on an item I had no control off seems ridiculous. I wasn’t shown or asked to put the umbrella down. This is not my responsibility. I travel to Cape Town a lot and have never seen these irresponsible charges before. There could have been structural damage. Are the clients responsible for that? You have a beautiful property.

Great stay, beautiful location in Bakoven. Entrance off main road but the house is quiet and with great tranquil views of the sea and mountains. Good spaces at upper and lower levels. Would recommend for your stay in Cape Town.

Liegt direkt am Meer. Groß, hell und geräumig. 2 Balkone zur Meerseite. Sauber und die Bäder/Duschen sind modern. Schränke und das eine oder andere Zeil ist schon etwas älter…
Wir fanden es toll.

Dass der Pool nicht gesäubert war… und wir es nicht geschafft haben, den Pool sauber zu bekommen. Poolpumpe wollte nicht wirklich etwas arbeiten… Das ist aber sicher lösbar. Und war es dann bei 8 Tagen Urlaub irgendwann nicht mehr wichtig genug

This is our third time booking into Jumeirah Blue, Bakoven, and we love the house and its location just a few metres & couple minutes flat walk to the beach and into the Camps Bay restaurant strip and shopping, without climbing up any hills, and with breaker views to die for. Location is perfect for a short weekend stay or a longer term holiday.

We were a little surprized/concerned at a previous review, but can say that since our last stay in 2022 the house has been renovated/updated and is now off-grid with solar, batteries and inverter which is great during power outages. We are looking forwarded to staying again in the future, house didn't disappoint.

Helaas bleek er bij aankomst een verbouwing aan de gang te zijn naast het huis. Wij waren hier niet over geïnformeerd door de verhuurder. Daarnaast waren er maar 3 strandbedden (houten) zonder kussens beschikbaar. Dit terwijl het huis voor 8 personen is. Ook lag er nog een aangebroken pizza in de oven. Wij waren dan ook niet heel erg happy bij aankomst en hebben via de verhuurder een andere accommodatie gekregen. De verhuurder (NOX) heeft dit verder keurig opgepakt. Mocht je niet bij het zwembad van het huis willen liggen dan is dit echt een perfect huis met een mooie ligging.

Nox sorted out what they could. However, this house needs a lot of TLC.
1. The alarm doesn't work,
2. The dishwasher didn't work until we moaned.
3. The cupboards were falling off the hinges.
4. There were no cushions for upstairs outdoor seating as per the pictures.
5. The lower outdoor dining chairs need replacing as the fibreglass is splintering off, and if you wear a bathing suit, you have splinters.
6. The bathroom drains are blocked most of the time and have an awful sulphur smell.
7. If load shedding happens, you can't get your car out as the override system doesn't work.
8. The couch and linen are old.
9. The shower tiles on the floor are incredibly slippery when wet so I wouldn't recommend this unit to the elderly
10. When we arrived we only got 6 bath towels for 8 people
11. There is only one bin in the kitchen, none in the bathrooms or bedrooms
The owners of this unit need to take this place off the market until they fix these issues.

A very nice place to stay outside of Cape Town. Gorgeous view of the ocean, the perfect spot to have a braai. Close to a nice place for breakfast/lunch. Internet is ok for doing basic work/email, not for streaming video with multiple devices etc. Everything is cleaned daily.
Would recommend and stay again!

The house is immaculate. Such a great space to stay with a large group of friends. The beds were the comfiest I’ve ever stayed in and AC worked well. Pool is just right for a plunge to cool off and there is loads of space inside and outside to relax. The walk into Camps Bay is an easy fifteen minute walk away and there’s a coffee/lunch place pretty much next door to the house. It was only 25 minutes to get to the V&A waterfront by car and only 10 to get up to the Table Mountain cable car entrance. Worth noting the address is in Bakoven and not Clifton (which some satnavs seem to go to). Great view of the sea and Table Mountain! Highly recommend it.

Really good location. The BEST housekeeper (Coming everyday except sund). House was perfect, but the alarm didnt work. Also the oven in the kitchens were super slow so not possible to make fries for exemple. Remember to add Bakeoven when you search for the adress! Otherwise the gps will show you a different location! It was super stressfull and took us over an hour to find it! We will be back, super Happy over all.
