Hi Nox, I'm writing on behalf of the guest, Ben Jaw and family. They overall had a good stay at Villa 240 but unfortunately there were quite a few small things that added up to being slightly less than the great experience expected. For the amount that the guest paid, they expected a seamless and trouble-free stay in an environment that was not only beautiful (which it is) but also where everything worked. - water pressure is generally very poor, in some taps just a trickle comes out - skylight awning in ensuite of one of the bedrooms upstairs is broken/doesn’t open - lights are very temperamental; guests struggled to switch them on and off and on one occasion they had to sleep with lights on the whole night as they couldn’t switch off. 🤦♀️ - The lift doesn’t work as it should. Guests got stuck on more than one occasion and nearly missed their flights when their luggage got stuck in the lift on the day of departure. - one morning they woke up to no water upstairs (couldn’t shower) - very poorly equipped kitchen, not even a suitable braai tong - The sliding door to the outside near the braai is very difficult to open. Needs maintenance - non-functioning alarm Overall, for a villa of this standard, there needs to be a bit more care taken for the small things. Hope this helps for future guests :)
