Having stayed at the V&A Marina for the last 10+ years I was HUGELY disappointed with my stay. The booking process was littered with errors, including invoicing which I had to query or would have been over-charged. Carradale 302 is seriously below standard and is in need of some significant maintenance/repairs. On arrival Pete helfpully checked us in - he seemed unaware that we had booked/paid for a late check-out but arranged that with the security office. When we got to the apartment it was still being cleaned. On settling in we noticed that there were only 4 bath towels for 6 people and only 2 pool towels as well as only 4 dining chairs with a dining table unable to properly sit 6 people (in a 3 bedroom apartment). There was also a light fitment handing out of the ceiling in one of the bedrooms and above the shower. There was also no lock on the bathroom door. I contacted Nox straight away and was told towels would arrive straight away - this happened the next morning but only the bath towels. I had to chase again for the pool towels which arrived the day after checking in. The light was refitted the next day and a new lock put on the door, which could not be used as it was almost impossible to open once inside the bathroom. We had a number of maintenance issues - no air con in the twin or double bedrooms or living room - an engineer came and advised that the single remote was the wrong one and the only way to function the air con was to stand on a chair and manually switch but with no option to adjust the temperature/fan etc. The air con in the living room continued to blow warm air for our whole stay. The dishwasher did not work - I phoned to flag and was told one was on order and they were aware - this was not flagged on check-in and meant washing up sat around from one day to the next waiting for the maid to wash by hand (as we were told to do). On the next day we found water dripping through the light fitment which had been put back into the ceiling of the bedroom - I phoned Nox straight away and was told someone would call me back immediately. They did not. So I called again and was told as it was about 16.30 that someone would come in the morning which I strongly rejected and requested someone fix the issue immediately as it was a safety issue (water and electricity do not mix). Someone did come at 17.45 - they removed the light fitment and fitted a cut up coke bottle to catch the dripping water. Frankly we should never have been checked into a property with this number of issues. And the final straw - having booked/paid for a late check-out (confirming more than 5 times as your admin was so poor) I received notification on my last day that my check-out time was 10.00. This meant calling and emailing Nox again to correct this wasting yet more of my holiday time. I will not use Nox again and will certainly not recommend your services.
