Overall we were disappointed. The property is in a perfect location and the views are spectacular but the maintenance was shocking. From day 1 we had no air conditioning and that took a day to repair, then a leak from a 3rd floor bathroom due to a backed up drain. When the plumber unblocked the drain it was absolutely disgusting to see what came out. There was a chair amongst the outside furniture with severe burns and Stanley really didn’t see that as a problem! The covers for the outside furniture were stashed at the grill and had a terrible smell due to lack of cleaning. Neither the washing machine not the dryer worked and 2 white shirts were stained with black marks. There were no placemats in the house. Stanley said he’d ‘order’ them but they never appeared. The dishwasher also leaked and there was a foam party coming from the bottom so we stopped using it. Each time Stanley said he’d send someone - well no one ever came! Really unacceptable. We chose to enjoy our time as it was limited and we were with family for the first time in years. We stay in villas all over the world and have never encountered so many problems! Overall there was just no urgency to attend to the issues - actually complete apathy!
