A few weeks ago we told you about the fun activities taking place in the Cape. This last Sunday the 2012 Gun Run took place in and around the Atlantic Seaboard and our very own Team Nox made anappearance.[caption id="attachment_956" align="alignnone" width="480"]
Lee-Anne and Tamsyn before the race[/caption]Lee-Anne and Tamsyn decided to take on the 10km run:This race started at 8am and finished at Rocklands Beach, Sea Point Promenade, opposite the SABC Studios. Nick took on the 21 km challenge and accompanied a friend of his who won an entry into the New York Marathon - part of the prizebeingthat he has to run an Zebra suit!The Gun Run charity is the 'Jag Foundation', which uses sport as a catalyst to teach children to engage in physical activity, absorbing its values and benefits, in order to produce holistically healthy individuals who believe in themselves and their future. This year, runners and sponsors donated an amazing R60,000.Well done team Nox for taking part and donating to such a worthy cause![caption id="attachment_951" align="alignnone" width="333"]
